N-Methyltyramine, or NMT, is something that we talked about back on June 22nd. You should take a look back to that blog post and familiarize yourself on what NMT is and how we can use it to get our butts in gear.
The only side effects that need to be mentioned when it comes to NMT are those that occur when it’s combined with other substances that don’t really agree with it. On it’s own, NMT supplementation is harmless. There is nothing as far as cardiovascular or immune system problems. There is no reason to worry about allergies or overdose. Technically speaking, NMT is 100% harmless!
Stacking is definitely the best way to get the most out of every supplement. Most of the substances we mention or investigate in this blog are just ingredients in our products because we’re interested in maximizing benefits. For example, protein is beneficial all on its own. It fills you, it helps your muscles recover after a serious workout, and it prevents soreness. However, combining protein with creatine unlocks a whole new level of muscle recovery. Those muscles will actually come back up to 20% stronger than they would without the protein/creatine combo.
NMT is no different. In order to maximize benefit, combinations are expected to take place. You can trust different supplement cocktails that are already formulated and manufactured for you (like Cinterate) or you can dabble in your own stacking methods because nobody knows you better than you know you. You should be able to create an even more effective stack for yourself, so long as you are properly educated.
While we encourage stacking to help the bodybuilding elite reach new pinnacles of success, we also want you to be aware that random stacking is dangerous. You need to do the proper research and understand what happens with two particular supplements are mixed together. The formulas become exponentially more difficult to predict and monitor for every new supplement you add to a stack, which is why most people choose to trust labs like us to do all that grunt work for them.
The side effects of NMT stacked with estrogen blockers or testosterone boosters are going to be different than when you mix NMT with muscle building supplements like beta-alanines and BCAAs. Understand the side effects of the other supplements you want to stack before you mix them with the NMT. You need to know the potential side effects so that if something starts to go sideways, you’re already ahead of the game and have a plan to “fix” the situation…
