Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water.  As a generally rule, you should be consuming the amount of ounces you weigh in pounds every day.  If you weigh 200 pounds, you should be drinking 200 ounces of water daily.  This sliding scale isn’t technically legitimate but if you set the bar a bit high, somebody is more likely to actually hit the true target for their body size.

Apart from water, coffee and tea are on the table.  Feel free to enjoy your morning pick-me-up, so long as it’s not loaded with sugar or cream.  Coffee and tea are actually ideal drinks for somebody trying to burn off some extra belly fat.  The caffeine will help stifle hunger and jumpstart your metabolism despite the fact that you’re taking in very few calories.

Fat burning supplements.  There are a variety of visceral fat burning supplements that you can consume on a daily basis.  Many of these can be blended in to protein shakes pre or post workout, while others can be consumed in a pre-bedtime mix.  Look for ingredients such as caffeine, biopreine, acetyl-l-carnitine, octopamine, halostachine, and huperiza serrata in effective energy-boosting fat burn shake mixes.

Perhaps one of the underutilized drinks: meal replacement shakes.  Rather than eating way too much food, you can actually drink your meals while getting all the same nutrients your body needs… maybe even more than you usually would get.  Meal replacement shakes are to be mixed up before the usual “meal” time and not to be used as a supplement.  These REPLACE your food during a meal.  If you’re struggling with the idea of not actually eating something, cut up some celery, lettuce, or carrots.  Keep the calorie count as low as you can and that stubborn belly fat will be gone in no time!
